Lafayette Dance Guild: The Nutcracker Luncheon 2015

November 15th from 1:00 - 3:00 at the Callaway Conference Center

Hi Everyone!

Just a note to inform you of the “goings on” at THE NUTCRACKER LUNCHEON 2015.  Tickets are on sale in Mrs. T's office.  

Each Year the Lafayette Ballet Guild sponsors a luncheon to “kick off” the NUTCRACKER SEASON.  The NUTCRACKER LUNCHEON is held in efforts to help raise money for the Lafayette Dance Guild’s Dance Scholarship Fund.  I know you will want to be a part of this spectacular event so let me tell you about it!

The NUTCRACKER LUNCHEON is being held at The Callaway Conference Center.  The cost is $15.00 per person.  Seating is reserved so you are guaranteed a seat.  Each table holds 8 people.  As you purchase your tickets you will be assigned a table number.   The doors open at 12:30pm and lunch will be served at 1:00pm.  The food is a buffet menu consisting of Poppyseed Chicken, Rice, Green Beans, Mac ‘n Cheese, Salad, Dessert, Tea and Water. 

At the luncheon there will be a NUTCRACKER GIFT BOUTIQUE.  CRAFTS are always a hit for the children as well as a CANDY BUFFET. There is a FLOOR SHOW featuring a performance from the NUTCRACKER CHARACTERS.  

SOMETHING NEW AND FUN...  This year we will be having a PHOTO BOOTH!  Also...A SCAVENGER HUNT! GAMES AND PRIZES are a new addition as well.

To be able to participate in all the fun activities each child will need to purchase an armband for $5.00.

Also...there will be several raffles which are $1.00 each or 20 chances for $10.  (Birthday Party, Backstage Pass, Jewelry, Pointe Shoe Wreath, Door Hangings, Thirty-One Products...)

Now the most special part of the Luncheon…  Pointe shoes that have been decorated by the Nutcracker Characters will be “auctioned off”.  Bid sheets will be placed by the pointe shoes for our guests to put their name and bid on for the pointe shoes that they would like to win!  Bids start at $25.00 and are raised in increments of $5.00.  

REMEMBER…THIS EVENT IS A FUNDRAISER!

The NUTCRACKER LUNCHEON is an opportunity for you as parents to celebrate the hard work and dedication of your Nutcracker Dancer. I want to personally encourage everyone to attend the NUTCRACKER LUNCHEON.  The luncheon is not only for the LCD family, it is also for friends and neighbors of our wonderful community of Troup County! 
We would especially like to include grandparents as a special part of this event.
